Our flake floor process starts with proper concrete preparation, because in Alberta, freeze-thaw cycles, moisture, road salt, and daily wear can be tough on concrete. We begin with diamond grinding the surface, fill cracks, and repair imperfections to create a solid foundation. From there we apply a MVB primer to protect against moisture-related issues and improve long-term performance. Once the floor is fully prepared, we start the system with a base coat, a full broadcast of flake and durable polyaspartic top coat. This creates a seamless, low-maintenance surface that looks clean, resists wear and is built to perform in Alberta garages, basements, shops and commercial spaces

CONSULTATION & COLOR SELECTION
We help you choose a flake blend that complements your space — from clean, modern tones to bold, high-contrast finishes. Every system is tailored to your style and use.
SURFACE PREPARATION
We mechanically grind the concrete to remove imperfections and properly profile the surface. This step is critical — and the difference between a floor that lasts years vs. one that fails.
BASECOAT APPLICATION
A high-performance basecoat is applied to create a strong bond with the concrete while setting the foundation for the flake system.
FULL FLAKE BROADCAST
We broadcast decorative vinyl flakes to full rejection, ensuring complete coverage. This creates a uniform, textured surface that improves grip and hides imperfections.
SCRAPE & DETAILING
Once cured, the surface is carefully scraped and cleaned to remove excess material and create a smooth, consistent profile.
DURABLE CLEAR TOPCOAT
We apply a UV-stable, abrasion-resistant clear coat that locks everything in — delivering long-term protection against wear, stains, chemicals, and daily traffic.
CURING & FINAL WALKTHROUGH
After curing, we complete a final inspection to ensure a clean, seamless finish. Your floor is now ready for heavy use — and built to last.
